Remarks
- Structure: Female body broadly oval, up to 3 mm long. Antennae 8-segmented. Legs normally developed; hind coxae with numerous translucent pores. Anal apparatus complete. Ostioles represented by posterior pair only. Circulus large, rounded or trapezoid. Multilocular pores forming transverse rows on 5 posterior abdominal sternites and occasionally present near coxae. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015)
- Biology: Occurring under the bud scales and in the crevices in the bark of beech trees. Life history and natural enemies discussed by Kosztarab & Kozár (1988F).
