- Structure: Female scale elongated, 1.2-1.5 mm long, 0.8-1.2 mm wide; white; ventral scale thick, remains attached to host plant (Marchal, 1909).

was first recorded in Algeria by Balachowsky (1929) and has not been reported since. Bouguenna, et al., 2026 represents the second record of the species in Algeria.
