Remarks
- Systematics: Borchsenius (1959a: 841) assigned this genus to the Lecanodiaspididae. Lambdin & Kosztarab (1973: 4) concluded that Amorphococcus belonged to the Asterolecaniidae. Several species were assigned to Amorphococcus since it was described by Green (1902b), but currently it includes only A. mesuae.
