Remarks
- Systematics: Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) transferred Spilococcus corsicus to Trionymus when they were unable to find fungiform ducts either in the original description or on the lectotype of the species.
- Structure: Female body broadly oval, up to 3 mm. long. Antennae 8-segmented. Legs normally developed, hind coxae slightly enlarged with translucent pores. Anal apparatus complete. Both pairs of ostioles present. Circulus absent. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015)
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Balachowsky (1933a). Pellizzari (pers. comm.) states that this is not present in Sicily.
