Remarks
- Systematics: This species is similar morphologically with Ph. defectus which is known as polyphagous on different herbaceous plants. According to Ben-Dov (1985), Ph. yerushalmi has larger dorsal conical setae.
- Biology: Living on trunk of the trees, concealed by the dead bark and aggressively protected by the ant Crematogaster scutellaris var. jonia Forell.
