- Systematics: .
- Structure: Slide-mounted adult female elongate oval to oval. Antennae each with 6 segments. Legs well developed but small for size of body. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2022)
- Biology: Occurring under the leaf sheaths and on the nodes, underground stems and roots of the host plant. .
- Economic Importance: According to Williams (1970a), although widespread on sugarcane in India, this species is not a serious pest.
