Notes: This study aimed to quantify these dynamics and assess environmental and management factors to identify critical intervention windows for pest management of the white mango scale (Aulacaspis tubercularis). Overall, these findings highlight that A. tubercularis in Ethiopia is driven primarily by seasonal and environmental factors rather than by conventional management practices. By identifying a narrow February-April window of peak activity, this study provides a quantitative basis for timing interventions, improving monitoring efficiency, and designing locally adapted integrated pest management strategies.
