Notes: [Original title: Estudio de la distribución, nivel de ataque, parasitos y predatores de las cochinillas lecaninas (Saissetia oleae Bern. y Ceroplastes sinensis Del Guercio) en los cítricos de la Provincia de Castellón.] Studies in Castellon, Spain, showed that Saissetia oleae (Ol.) and Ceroplastes sinensis Del G. were present on citrus throughout the Province; C. sinensis was slightly more abundant on mandarin varieties than was S. oleae. Coccus hesperidum L. was present only in citrus nurseries and young groves. Information is given on the severity of the attack by Ceroplastes and Saissetia in various parts of the province and on the intensity of parasitism and predation. S. oleae was parasitised by Metaphycus flavus (How.), M. zebratus (Merc.), Coccophagus scutellaris (Dalm.) and Scutellista cyanea Motsch.; the only predator was Eublemma scitula (Ramb.). Ceroplastes sinensis was also attacked by this predator and parasitised by S. cyanea.
