Notes: [Original title: Turuncgillerde gibberellic asit (GA3) uygulamalarinin turuncgil unlubiti [Planococcus citri (Risso) (Hom.: Pseudococcidae)] ve bazi dogal düsmanlari üzerindeki etkilerinin arastirilmasi.] Laboratory experiments were conducted to determine the nontarget effects of gibberellic acid treatments (20 ppm GA3, 200 ppm Agrowett (AW) and 20 ppm GA3+200 ppm AW) on the citrus mealybug Planococcus citri and its predator (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri) and parasitoid (Leptomastix dactylopii). Among the treatments, only AW and GA3+AW inhibited P. citri egg hatching by 12 and 20% and infestation of the second and third nymph stages by 17.3 and 19.7%, respectively. Application of GA3+AW had 16.8-17.8% toxicity on mealybug nymphs. None of the 3 characters (GA3, AW, GA3+AW) affected hatching of C. montrouzieri eggs and its adults in contact nor the parasitization rate of L. dacylopii (taking into account the IOBC classification for beneficials).
