He, Y., Zhan, R., & Chang, J. 2018 The relationship between the population competition of different genotypes of pineapple mealybug Dysmicoccus brevipes and their natural distribution. Journal of Plant Protection 45(2):397-398

  • Notes: Dysmicoccus brevipes (Cockerell) is the main vector of Chinese pineapple wilt disease. Control of the insect is an effective way to control pineapple wilt disease. The genetic structure of the pineapple mealyug can be divided according to COI sequence differences, namely Nanning, Qionghai and Manning. According to the results of group competition, the Wanning-type pineapple mealybug will continue to be mainly distributed in Hainan Province, while the Qionghai type may be in Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, and Yunnan.
