Notes: There has been considerable confusion regarding the genus Pulvinaria Targioni-Tozzett, 1866, but recent studies have helped clarify some of these issues and have, to some extent, restored nomenclatural stability. Recently, two species of the genus were reported as new to Norway, one of which was also new to science. In this paper, another species, Pulvinaria regalis Canard, 1968, is reported as new to Norway. Additionally, the validity and distribution of Pulvinaria species recorded from Norway are discussed.
