Notes: In 2013, in the municipality of Linhares, Espírito Santo, the occurrence of pink mealybug was recorded in cocoa trees, and, subsequently, CEPLAC registered, for the first time, the attack of this insect on cocoa trees in Bahia, in the municipality of Mucuri, and its presence was later detected in Itamaraju in the Extreme South and Recôncavo Baiano.
