- Structure: In life, on the bark; appearing mainly white, due to coating of white wax on elongate second-instar exuviae; first-instar exuviae marginal, yellow-orange to orange-brown. In microscope slide, 900 to 1050 μm long, 370 to 430 μm wide, broadest at metathorax. Body outline elongate oval; cuticle membranous to slightly sclerotized. Segments VII and VIII free or fused. Antenna simple, with 4 setae. Anterior spiracle with 4 to 6 (median 5) quinquelocular disc pores; posterior spiracle with 2 to 5 (median 4) pores. (Normark et al. 2025)
