Systematics: Alate male similar to putoids and some pseudococcids, with rows of 6 simple eyes on each side; antennal joints not nodulate, setae twice the segment width, none apically knobbed, evenly scattered; mesothorax strongly convex, scutum solid, without membranous parts, scutellum subpentagonal extending into mesopostnotum; wings broad, with a prominent pouch for holding hamuli (Koteja, 2000).
