Remarks
- Structure: Scale of adult female circular, slightly convex, yellowish-white in colour. Exuviae situated in the central part of scale, orange in colour. Diameter of scale 2.0-2.2 mm. Males unknown (Borchsenius, 1935). Slide-mounted adult female pyriform, prosoma becoming sclerotized with maturity. Anterior and posterior spiracles without associated disc pores. Pygidium with 3 pairs of well-developed lobes. Median lobes (L1) large, slightly convergent, asymmetric, each rounded apically, with 1 notch on outer margin. Second lobes (L2) smaller than L1, convergent, each asymmetric, with rounded apex and outer margin oblique. Third lobes (L3) smaller than L2. Plates absent. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2021)
- Biology: D. armenicus can be found on the bark of the trunk and branches, and small populations are difficult to detect. (Rouhani, et al., 2018)
