Remarks
- Structure: Female scale circular or broadly elliptical, diameter 1.5-2 mm; convex; white; exuviae yellow, placed centrally (Borchsenius, 1949b). Slide-mounted adult female broadly oval. Antennae each with 1 strong, long seta and 2 spiniform prominences. Pygidium wide, with 3 pairs lobes; median lobes (L1) well- developed, closely adpressed. Second and third lobes (L2 and L3), weakly developed but sclerotized and well separated; margin of pygidium with several lobe-like protrusions; margins of pygidium strongly sclerotized, textured with narrow vertical cuticular grooves.
