Remarks
- Structure: Female scale white, elongate, narrow, convex, flattened at tip. Adult female entirely enclosed within the swollen, strongly chitinized 2nd stage which is 0.5-0.6 mm long, elongate oval, dark reddish brown. Adult female hyaline, elongate, sides subparallel (Marlatt, 1908c). Sometimes first-instar exuviae present anteriorly, and traces of a cottony wax-like secretion. Scale cover of adult male elongate, 0.8–1.0 mm long, dirty white, with first-instar exuvia present at anterior end (Kondo & Watson 2022b).
- Economic Importance: Radionaspis indica is a pest of mango (Ebeling, 1959).
