Remarks
- Systematics: Pseudorhizoecus bari is similar to Pseudorhizoecus proximus. However, it can be differentiated from P. proximus Green, 1933 by the antenna with three segments, circulus present and anal ring with more than 20 flagellated setae; while P. proximus has 5-segmented antennas, absent circulus and and anal ring with 2-5 setae. It is aso similar to Ripersiella colombiensis (Hambleton, 1946) by the shape of body, the abundance of setae and the presence of circulus. However, R. colombiensis has antennas with 5 segments and an anal ring with six flagella setae and two bands of obvious anal cells. (Caballero. et al. 2018)
- Structure: Livig body white or creamy white, circular, without a wax coating Body of mounted female subcircular, 1.2 (0.7-1.1) mm long, 1 (0.5-0.9) mm wide. (Caballero. et al. 2018)
