Remarks
- Systematics: This species is similar to Ph. pumilus, but differs in the presence of numerous translucent pores on the hind coxae and tibiae, and it has larger conical setae on the dorsum.
- Structure: Antennae 9-segmented. Legs normally developed; hind coxae and tibiae with numerous translucent pores. Both pair of ostioles present. Cirulus absent.
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Vayssiere (1932, 1934).
