Remarks
- Systematics: This species differs from other species of the genus and all other Palearctic mealybugs in having an unusually long third antennal segment. This feature characterizes all females of the type series. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2014)
- Structure: Body from elongate oval to broadly oval up to 3 mm. long. Antennae 6 segmented; third segment unusually long, longer than 4-6 segments all together. Legs well developed with thin segments, withuot translucent pores; claw with denticle. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2014)
