Remarks
- Systematics: The note of Goux (1989) about the absence of claw denticle in the type species is not supported by the holotype. The species is similar to Ph. pumilus but differs in the presence of larger conical setae on the dorsum, some of which are similar in size to the cerarian setae. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2014)
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Goux (1989). Goux (1989) also described the first instar crawler.
