Remarks

• Systematics: Male P. hargreavesi differ from the other stictococcid males described here in being (i) much more setose, particularly on the head and (ii) in having a group of setae on the shoulder of the prothorax. (Hodgson, 2020)
• Structure: Adult female hemispherical, brown, 2 mm in diameter. Female larva oval and very long, nearly circular (Vayssière, 1936).
