Female scale circular or subcircular, diameter 0.75-1.1 mm; slightly convex; frequently embedded in the bark; exuviae central, rarely subcentral, yellow gold; secretion of the adult white, not shiny; ventral vellum poorly developed (Balachowsky, 1928a).
