Remarks
- Structure: Adult female elongate oval, about 0.9 mm long and 0.5 mm wide; lateral margins of body slightly notched intersegmentally, derm quite membranous except for very slight pygidial sclerotization (Ezzat & Afifi, 1966). Takagi & Moghaddam (2005) found that most of the mounted specimens from Tamarix were obtained from within galls formed on the branches. The gall is conical, attaining about 3mm across, with a small, round opening at the apex
- General Remarks: Detailed descriptions and illustrations by Hall (1923) and Ezzat & Afifi (1966).
