Remarks
- Systematics: Subfamily DIASPIDINAE Tribe LEPIDOSAPHIDINI (Normark, et al., 2019)
Balachowsky (1953g) and Borchsenius (1966) placed this genus to the Odonaspidinae. Normark, et al. placed it in the Diaspidinae based on a genetic analysis in 2019. The genus is distinguished by the presence of conspicuous paraphyses combined with the absence of plates and lobes. It resembles Odonaspis Cockerell by the absence of plates and lobes, but differs from the latter in the multisetose antennal tubercle and the absence of intersegmental crenulae.
