Remarks
- Systematics: The original description of the species was done in old Japanese and did not include the total figure of the female. Dr. Hirotaka Tanaka checked that description and informed Danzig & Gavrilovi-Zimin (2015) that the species has 15 pairs of cerarii. Based on the current understanding of the genera, Dysmicoccus and Trionymus, by McKenzie (1967), species with 6 or more pairs of cerarii are included in Dysmicoccus and species with 5 or less pairs of cerarii are included in Trionymus. Therefore, Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) moved this species to Dysmicoccus.
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Kanda (1935b). Good description of the adult female given by Kawai (1980) and by Tang (1992).
