Remarks
- Structure: Female scale circular, 2.2 mm in diameter; convex; exuviae yellow-gold, central; adult secretion light brown or slightly pink, with concentric areas, darker and variously coloured (Kaussari, 1956). Slide-mounted adult female pyriform, membranous at maturity. Pygidium with 3 pairs of lobes; median lobes (L1) each rounded apically and with notch on lateral margin; second lobes (L2) as long as L1, each with 1 notch on outer margin; third lobes (L3) slightly smaller than L2, each lobe usually with 3 notches on outer margin. Median, lateral and external plates well developed, present between lobes and anterolateral to L3, plates slightly longer than lobes and deeply fringed. (Moghaddam & Watson, 2021)
