Remarks
- Systematics: This species is similar to Diaspidiotus makii (Kuwana) from Japan, as redesribed by Takagi (1958). It differs from makii, however, in having a smaller anal opening, no plates between the median lobes and the mesal margins of the median lobes divergent.. (Munting, 1971)
- Structure: Female scale small, about 0.75 mm in diameter; hidden in cracks in the bark of host and varying in shape accordingly (Munting, 1971).
