Remarks
- Systematics: Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) defined Trionymus as having 10 pair of cerarii or less and Dysmicoccus as having more than 10 pair. At the same time, they synonymized Cintococcus, Cannococcus and Penthococcus with Trionymus. However, when Cannococcus was treated as a junior synonym, they transfered the type species C. cannicola to Trionymus but left the other Cannococcus species without a generic placement stating that it is probably unrelated to Cannocoaccus. Because C. ikshu must have a generic assignment, we are leaving it and C. cannicola in Cannococcus until proper generic assignment has been made for C. ikshu.
- General Remarks: Good description and illustration of the adult female given by Borchsenius (1960e). Good description of the adult female given by Tang (1992).
