Remarks
- Systematics: This species resembles Allotrionymus boninensis, but can be separated from it by antennae with 7 segments, and a lateral group of tubular ducts and the absence of multilocular pores next to the fore coxa. (Wu1999a) Danzig and Gavrilov-Zimin (2015) considered Allotrionymus Takahashi, 1958 to be a junior synonym of Atrococcus. Examination of phylogenies using molecular and morphological characters (Hardy et al. 2008 & Kaydan et al. 2015) or molecular characters alone (Downie & Gullan 2004) do not agree with the above hypotheses, so we have kept A. calamagrostis in the genus Allotrionymus.
- Structure: Adult female antennae 7-segmented. Hind coxae with translucent pores. Circulus small, round. Prothoracic group of wax glands absent. Multilocular pores present only on five posterior abdominal sternites. (Danzig & Gavrilov-Zimin, 2015)
