Grohnus Koteja, 2008: 46. Type species: Grohnus eichmanni Koteja, by monotypy and original designation.

SYSTEMATICS: This genus was introduced as type genus of the family Grohnidae, in the group of Orthezioidea (Koteja, 2008). The male of type genus is alate.
