GENERAL REMARKS: Description and diagnosis by Koteja (2008).
SYSTEMATICS: This genus, comprising two species, was introduced as type genus of the family Arnoldidae, in the groups of Orthezioidea (Koteja, 2008). In addition to the description of A. capitatus and A. clavatus, Koteja (2008: 29) also reported on one male wing that may belong to a species of Arnoldus.
