Notes: The population dynamics and structure of parasite wasps on white wax insect (Ericerus pela) were studied by fixture trapping from 1999 to 2000. Results showed that in Kunming area, Yunnan Province, China, there were 11 species belonging to chalcid parasites on E. pela. According to standard classification, Microterys ericeri, Metaphycus ericeri and Microterys sinicus were the dominant parasitic wasps of the white wax insect, occupying 45.9, 37.3 and 11.4%, respectively, of the total species population density. The fluctuation of the dominant population was the key factor influencing the complex population trend.
