Wearing, C.H., & Charles, J.G. 1978 Integrated control of apple pests in New Zealand. 14. Sex pheromone traps to determine applications of azinphos-methyl for codling moth control.. Proceedings of the Thirty-First New Zealand Weed and Pest Control Conference. Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries Palmerston North, N.Z. 256 pp.

Notes: [Conference held at Devon Motor Lodge, New Plymouth, August 8 to 10, 1978.] It is reported in this further paper in a series from New Zealand on integrated control of pests of apple [see preceding abstract, etc.], that populations of Cydia pomonella (L.) (Laspeyresia pomonella) in apple orchards in Auckland and Waikato were monitored in 1975-78. Damage caused by other pests, including Quadraspidiotus perniciosus (Comst.) and Pseudococcus spp. is described. Grower response to the monitoring system was strongly positive and it is recommended for use in gate-sales orchards in northern areas.
