Notes: The Pseudomyrmex viduus group is a Neotropical clade of arboreal ants containing 13 species, of which three are newly described here. Coccoid associations mentioned include Farinococcus multispinus, Cryptostigma inquilina (Akermes secretas), Dysmicoccus brevipes and Cataenococcus sp.
