Notes: Phenacoccus solenopsis Tinsley was founded in many sites in Guangzhou city, Guangdong Province on Hibiscus trees on December 16, 2008. Based on the Genetic Algorithm for Rule-set Prediction Modeling System (GARP), the potential distribution of P. solenopsis in China was predicted. The result indicated that it could occur in most area of 17 provinces including Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong and Henan. And it could also occur in part of the following 11 regions including Xinjiang, Sichuan, Gensu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia. According to the international pest risk analysis method, P. solenopsis is a a high risk invasive species to China with risk value 0.856.
