Notes: C. pseudoceriferus infesting ornamental plants grows one generation a year in Kunming, China. The female spawns from mid-April to early May. The nymphs hatch in mid- to late May and develop into adults in August, with the adult females overwintering. Egg development was optimum at 9.46-10.33(deg)C under an effective accumulated temperature of 296.94-319.04 day-degrees.
