Notes: Observations in China in 1981 on the biology of a neuropteran referred to as Sympherobius weisong, an important predator of the pine pest Matsucoccus massonianae, are described. Other species preyed on by S. weisong included M. matsumurae, M. sinensis [Sonsaucoccus sinensis] and Cinara pinea.
