Notes: A new introduction of Leptomastix dactylopii (How.) (Hym. Encyrtidae) in Italy for the biological control of Planococcus citri (Risso) on citrus has been carried out in 1974. About 30,000 adults of the parasite have been reared and released in the field with the inoculative method. Information is given on an attempt to introduce Prospaltella lahorensis How. (Hym., Aphelinidae) from California to italy,for a biological control project against Dialeurodes citri (Ashm.). The control of Icerya purchasi by Rodolia cardinalis is also mentioned.
