Notes: Aonidiella aurantii has been documented for the first time in Rhizophora mangle (mangrove) seedlings. This species of scale was detected in the community of Capitán Felipe Castellanos Díaz (San Pedro), Balancán, Tabasco, Mexico. This work constitutes the first report of this diaspine associated with a plant species of the Rhizophoraceae family.
