Notes: [Proceedings of the third international symposium on kiwifruit, Thessaloniki, Greece, 19-22 September 1955.] The development of a simulation model to predict the phenology of a uniparental strain of Aspidiotus nerii in kiwifruits in New Zealand is described. The rates of development of A. nerii at different temperatures (12-25 deg C) were used as model parameters. The model gave a good fit compared with actual phenology data from a 6-year-old orchard (cv. Hayward).
