Notes: Despite the extensive use of cochineal as a natural dye, there is a significant gap in research regarding the effects of bio-mordants on both the color and quality of cochineal-dyed cotton fabrics. This study aims to address this gap by investigating the effects of both metal and bio-mordants on the color yield, fastness, and aging properties of cochineal-dyed cotton fabrics.
