Tawfik, M.F.S., Hafez, M., & Raouf, A. 1970 On the bionomics of Habrolepis pascuorum Mercet (Hymenoptera, Encyrtidae), a parasite of the black scale, Chrysomphalus ficus Ashm.. Technical Bulletin (U.A.R., Plant Protection Department) 2: 92-97.
Notes: The effect of some factors such as the different sides, zones or strata of the tree, different surfaces of the leaf, and the rate of parasitism of C. ficus by Habrolepis pascuorum was studied. Under the conditions of the experiment it was found that most of the tested factors did not show significant effect on the rate of parasitism of the scale insects by H. pascuorum. The only exception was the significantly higher percentage of parasitism of scales infesting orange fruits compared to those infesting leaves of the same tree.
