Notes: Heavily infested olive trees were sprayed on 17 August with 20 litre/plant of decamethrin (2.5 g/hl) or of methidathion (60 g/hl). Examination on 6 September revealed high (95 and 94%, respectively) mortality of S. oleae in the 2 treatments compared with only 48% mortality in the untreated controls.
