Notes: In Hokkaido, Physokermes jezoensis Siraiwa (Homoptera: Coccidae) is often a serious pest of Picea jezoensis Carriere (Pinaceae). Two parasites of P. jezoensis were imported into Japan for evaluation, Aphycoides clavellatus and Microterys sylvius. Other hosts are listed and include Coccus, Didesmococcus, Lecanium, Parthenolecanium, Physokermes, Pulvinaria, Rhodococcus, Sphaerolecania and Stotzia.
