Notes: The diaspidid scale, Aspidiotus cryptomeriae Kuwana is widely distributed in Japan, Korea and Sakhalin, and is one of the most important pests of the coniferous trees such as Cryptomeria japonica, Picea jezoensis, etc. Another host of Comperiella indica mentioned includes Aspidiotus tamarindi.
