Notes: This paper contains the results of studies on the biology and on the control of Q. perniciosus Comst. carried out during the 1954-1959 period. Q. perniciosus Comst. was established in Bulgaria in 1953. It exists only in isolated localities along the Danube and was found on 30 species of plants, primarily on pip-fruit trees. Life history, natural enemies, chemical control and quarantine measure are discussed.
