Notes: The frequency distribution of red scales on citrus leaves is examined. The distribution of sample totals is markedly skewed, but after transformation to log (n + 1) there is no significant departure from normality, a result which suggests that, although increase of sample size reduces and finally eliminates truncation, the lognormal nature of the population is unaffected.
