Notes: Abstract: Observations indicate that all instars are capable of withdrawing their stylets from the drying leaves and moving in search of a better site; maximum preference site for all instars is the under surface of the leaves, even when there are no direct sunrays falling on upper surface; progressively older instars prefer sites which are firmer and have more sap.
