Rubin, A.Y. 1985 [Integrated control of the pests of house plants in Israel.]. Hassadeh 66(3): 530-533.
Notes: Predacious mites (resistant to organophosphorus pesticides) were released in greenhouses to control common red mites (Tetranychus cinnabarinus), and ladybirds [Coccinellidae] or parasitic wasps such as Leptomastix dactylopii were released to control mealybugs (Planococcus citri). Pest-free house plants were thus produced at a cost lower, or equal to that of conventional pest control.
